The number of online gambling accounts in the US keeps growing

Good news keep coming from potentially the world’s largest market for online casino providers. Despite the festive season and expected disruption the number of online gambling accounts in the United States of America just kept growing.

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has provided statistics according to which the amount of online accounts opened within the last week of year 2013 was well over sixteen thousand. And this only counts the online gambling venues which operate by the state’s Atlantic City land casinos and the internet partners of theirs. So the total amount of accounts since the market (and thus the count) was opened has reached 126,231. This is the highest amount since year 2004.

And the DGE figures reflect the rise of the players’ interest to online gambling as well. The Director of DGE David Rebuck has said that starting from November there has been a steady and continual increase in site traffic. He explained this fact due to the casino operators’ outreach and said that the figures are really encouraging. They were glad that the marketing efforts were fruitful and that the future of the Internet gaming industry in New Jersey seems to be truly bright.

But the New Jersey operators are going to hold even more ambitious marketing campaigns early this year. The campaign beginning in 2014 will cover not only New Jersey, but also neighboring states and the results of it promise to be really great.

This all gives good ground for the future possible complete legalization of online gambling market and coming such giants as Microgaming to the market of the United States. We do believe it is only the matter of time when the gamblers from this incredible country will be able to enjoy the bright and exciting games created by this developer. And win millions of jackpots of course!
